The original, award-winning FirstCar title has been published for over a decade. The 132-pages is packed full of essential information for the young driver. Sold at WH Smith and also bought in bulk and distributed by road safety officers via schools and colleges throughout the UK. 150,000 copies are published every March and distributed over a 12-month period; the magazine targets new drivers (17-24yrs).
52-page, glossy A5 magazine packed full of essential information for the learner driver. Supported by the influential Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), the magazine is handed to all learner drivers in the test centres, on collecting their theory test results.
The magazine is printed quarterly and a total of 750,000 copies are distributed over a 12-month period ensuring blanket coverage of all learners in the UK taking their theory test. It ensures an early touch point with the learner driver when they are making key decisions and as they start to form brand opinions. There is the ability to run three, six or 12 month campaigns.

The magazine is written in a non-preachy style to engage with the 65yrs+ target market. We help educate these high-risk drivers to help become safer drivers, whilst giving them advice on how to enjoy the freedom that driving brings, as well as important money saving advice.
75,000 copies are published every autumn and distributed by road safety officers who are very active at working with older drivers, they have many routes to market including directly to doctors and opticians, via older driver courses which they run and at relevant local events where they engage 65yrs+ drivers.

It’s designed to inform, enthuse, engage and excite readers who are currently learning to get on two wheels. It is the only magazine on the market aimed at new bikers; those just starting their motorcycling career.
Aimed at 16-24 year olds, FirstBike targets bikers from 16 as they take their CBT right through to qualifying for their A1, A2 and full A licence.
Published every May, 75,000 copies are distributed over a 12-month period. There is an underlying road safety theme subtly running throughout the magazine and this appeals to the road safety teams who buy and distribute the magazines via schools, colleges, universities and other events, where they engage with young motorcyclists, as well as at select CBT centres.
Ultimate Guide to Cycling
An annual, 52-page, A5 magazine. Packed full of useful information and expert advice covering a whole range of cycling topics. It's designed to inform, enthuse, engage and excite the readers with the aim of promoting cycling, encouraging them to cycle more.
It targets cyclists aged 13-30 who use their bike as a mode of transport to travel to school, college or work. It's not aimed at the enthusiast cyclist or those who have been riding regularly all their lives, it's for young people who see cycling as a fun way to get about, save money and stay healthy.
75,000 copies are distributed nationwide over a 12-month period. FirstCar has a tried and tested distribution network of road safety officers who will buy these magazines in bulk and distribute them via the schools, colleges and cycle safety events. The magazine is used as a valuable engagement tool with cyclists when these officers are communicating key cycling road safety issues. These road safety officers offer a direct route to market to this hard-to-reach group of cyclists.
